About me

About me

My  previous healthcare experience includes being a Support Worker for young adults with the National Autistic Society , an Occupational Therapy Assistant and a Medical Secretary within the NHS.   During my training I worked as a Consultant Group Counsellor for a Weight Management organisation where I delivered and facilitated psych-educational groups and as a Consultant Psychotherapist for the NHS seeing patients for therapy referral assessments.

In addition to my Professional Masters in Psychotherapy, I have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychology, a Law Degree (LLB Hons) and Marketing Qualifications (CIM).  My background includes professional roles within the legal, financial and public sectors.  I therefore understand the stresses and strains of the corporate environment as well as the pressures of working in the voluntary, and local authority environments.

I hail from the southeast and moved to the southwest in 1999, settling in the Forest of Dean in 2014.  I have also travelled to various countries worldwide experiencing different cultures and lifestyles, which have all been a part of enriching my experiences with people.
